This event it also expected to comprise thematic one-day conferences on exports, international trade, tourism, and scientific research. The TANECO Oil Refining and Petrochemical Complex in Nizhnekamsk started commissioning procedures at the hydrogen production unit.

The facility is designed to produce hydrogen from natural gas with preliminary feedstock hydrogenation (hydrotreatment). Estimated capacity for hydrogen product (with 99.9% vol. purity) is 30,000 normal cubic metres per hour or 22,000 tonnes per year.

Hydrogen obtained from the additional unit will be used to cover the process requirements of TANECO: either to provide for operation of the heavy coker gasoil hydrotreatment unit (for the full-swing deployment of the TANECO Complex), or for the product delivery to the factory’s hydrogen header.
