Issues of introducing CREs discussed in Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade

On June 8, 2017, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan hosted a meeting that addressed issues related to the progress in replacing and updating the cash register equipment in the territory of Tatarstan.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Denis Valeyev, Deputy Head of the Federal Tax Service in Tatarstan Galina Shatsilo, and representatives of republic’s trade enterprises.

The participants to the meeting considered problematic issues of implementing online cash registers, representatives of tax authorities gave exhaustive answers to questions from representatives of trade organisations.

For reference: Amendments to the Federal Law No. 54-FZ of May 22, 2003 “On the Use of Cash Registers in Cash Payments and/or Payments Using Pay Cards” came into force on July 15, 2016.

The amended regulations determine the rules for effecting settlements in the territory of the Russian Federation with the use of the cash register equipment (CRE) having a function of transmitting payment information to tax authorities via a fiscal data operator.
