Trade Representative Week: visit to Tatarstan

As part of the Trade Representative Week, a delegation of Russian trade representatives in foreign countries, such as the Kingdom of Norway, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Republic of Belarus, and the Republic of Azerbaijan arrived in Tatarstan.

This morning, the delegation visited the House of Tatarstan Government for a meeting with Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Albert Karimov.

The parties discussed the current progress in trade and economic cooperation between Tatarstan and foreign partners, exports activities of republic’s enterprises and the promotion of their products to foreign markets, as well as other promising areas for the cooperation development.

The next item of the programme was a visit to the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency, where the delegation was presented the economic potential of Tatarstan. The delegation was accompanied by Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan German Lerner.

The Trade Representative Week is being held by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia from July 8 to July 12, 2019 to discuss issues of supporting exports and international trade.
