The Republic of Tatarstan and the Rostec Corporation have signed an agreement on cooperation in implementing a pilot project for the creation and development of an all-Russian aerial application system to ensure the national food security in the territory of the Republic. Within MAKS-2017, the document was signed by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Albert Karimov and Industrial Director of the Rostec Cluster for Conventional Arms, Ammunition, and Special Chemicals Sergey Abramov.

The creation of the all-Russian system of aerial application control provides for the establishment in Russia of a centre for rendering services to country’s agricultural enterprises, the development of a single database for the registration of sown areas, the conducting of monitoring surveys, and the introduction of an electronic system for maintaining the aerial application using the GLONASS system.

The corporation comprises over 700 organisations that are currently part of 11 holding companies in the defence industry complex and 3 in civilian sectors.
