Today, the 4th National Championship of High-Tech Cross-Industry Skills “WorldSkills Hi-Tech 2017” will be opened on the IEC Yekaterinburg-Expo site.

More than 300 contestants will take part in the competitions. Young professionals will compete in 30 skills: electrical installation, electrical engineering, milling and turning work on CNC machines, mobile robotics, and others. In addition, an intense business agenda is expected within the 3 days of the event that is dedicated to improving the quality of present-day workforce education.

WorldSkills Hi-Tech is the most ambitious competition in Russia for professional skills among young professionals (aged from 18 to 28) at major domestic industrial enterprises, which has been held since 2014 in Yekaterinburg.

On November 4, the 3rd International Investment Forum “Invest Gagauzia-2017” will be opened. The event will be attended by a Tatarstan delegation comprising representatives of government agencies and business structures.

The moderators and speakers at the Forum will be the first persons of the Republic of Moldova, heads of central and regional authorities, representatives of business community, economic experts, and scholars.

The central topic of the 3rd International Investment Forum will be the presentation of two new investment sites in the municipalities of Comrat and Ceadâr-Lunga, which were granted the status of free economic zones.

During the business visit, the participants will make a tour of the industry-specific enterprises of Gagauzia and hold talks with foreign participants of the Forum.

In September 2015, Kazan hosted a meeting between Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Governor of Autonomous Territorial Unit of Gagauzia Irina Vlah. During the meeting, an Action Plan for trade, economic, scientific, technology, and cultural cooperation in 2016-2018 was signed between the Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers and the Executive Committee of Gagauzia.

Today, within the framework of the international conference “External Relations of the Russian Regions. Experience of the Republic of Tatarstan”, a round table discussion was held under the title “On Creation of an Export Ecosystem in the Constituent Entities of the Russian Federation and Software for the Infrastructure of the Regional Export Standard”.

Its moderator was Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Denis Valeyev. The meeting was also attended by Managing Director of Russian Export Centre for Coordination of Priority Projects Igor Shlonsky, Deputy Chairman of Penza Regional Government Andrey Luzgin, Deputy Chairman of Kirov Regional Government Ilya Shulgin, Director of External Relations Department at the Nizhny Novgorod Regional Government Olga Guseva, and representatives of Samara, Sverdlovsk regions, Mordovia, Bashkortostan, Chuvashia, and St. Petersburg.

Natalia Minaeva, head of the regional export support system development project at the Russian Export Centre, presented preliminary results of implementing the Regional Export Standard in the pilot mode.

Denis Valeyev briefed the audience on foreign economic activities of Tatarstan. In addition, he suggested creating an Exporters’ Club in the Volga Federal District to cooperate in promoting goods for exports.
