On Thursday, October 5 at 10:00, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan will host the qualification phase to participants of the Republic’s Young Leaders Contest entitled “Vverkh” (Up!).

The Vverkh! Contest is the final phase of the Republic’s Human Resources Youth Project, where the best of the best are fighting for the opportunity to join the Youth Government of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The procedure is aimed at the revealing and evaluation of social design skills of each participant individually, as well as at promoting the awareness of the contestants about the activities and terms of reference of the ministries that they represent.

Each participant should submit a social project aimed at resolving the challenges existing in the ministry that he or she represents within the framework of the Contest.

Winners of the Vverkh! Contest will have an opportunity to work as trainees in government agencies, in public associations and large enterprises of the city and the republic, to become members of the Youth Government of Tatarstan, and also to undertake international internships under the youth programme.

The 50,000th Ford Transit vehicle came off the production line of the Ford Sollers facility in Yelabuga. The jubilee version of the Russia’s flagship LCV was the all-metal Race Red van, with a medium wheelbase and Duratorq diesel engine of 2.2 litres (125 hp), with a total permissible weight of 3.1 tonnes.

The production of Ford Transit in Russia started in early 2012. It was Ford Transit that was launched first at the Ford Sollers facility in Tatarstan. Today, the Yelabuga plant manufactures Ford Transit of the last, fourth generation under full cycle technology that include welding and painting the body. It should be added that Ford Transit vans and minibuses are used throughout Russia to deliver mail and goods, work in the ambulance service, take children to schools, carry out city and intercity transportation, and efficiently solve the tasks of small and medium-sized businesses.

The Russian gastronomic week in Iran (Tehran) will be held from November 1 to 2, 2017. The Russian Gastro Week will bring together more than 50 Russian food producers and about 150 importers and distributors from the Iranian side. The participants and guests of the event will see a large-scale exhibition of Russian foodstuffs and attend B2B meetings.

The Russian Export Centre will cover the expenses associated with renting and decorating the event site, as well as with providing the equipment needed for exhibition purposes. There is no registration fee. Travel and accommodation, as well as delivery of exhibition samples to Iran are ensured by the participants themselves.

The publication of a separate catalogue is planned that will provide a brief description of the companies’ activities and products offered for promotion to the market of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
