Starting from 2017, the Tatarstan Government Quality Award will be integrated into the Russian Government Quality Award. The harmonisation of procedures and the conduct of a general audit will make it easier for the Republic's organisations to win the Award, and facilitate joining the federal commission for republic’s experts.

The Government Quality Award is an effective tool that stimulates enterprises to improve the organisation of their management and production procedures, increase competitiveness, and introduce new technologies and innovations.

In the period ended July 14, an on-site audit is underway at the organisations that have passed the documentary assessment; an analysis is also being conducted on conformity of the organisation's activities with the so-called “perfect model”.

The “perfect organisation model” incorporates many parameters, among which are operational evidences and results of quality management systems, strategic and social management, innovation, finance, and personnel management.

Based on the results of the on-site audit, Roskachestvo will prepare proposals on the nominees and winners of the competition for the final decision by the Russian Government Quality Award Council headed by Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov.

Tomorrow on July 7, the Red Square in Moscow will saw the start ceremony of the Silk Way Rally 2017. Among the other participants, four crews of the KAMAZ-Master team will compete for the victory.

The seventh Silk Way Rally will be held as a transcontinental marathon across the territories of Russia, Kazakhstan, and China. This amazing journey consisting of 14 legs will come to the end on July 22. The route will pass from west to east: from Red Square in Moscow, through Astana and Semey, along Turkestan-Siberian Railway, up to the Gobi Desert, and finishes in one of the ancient capitals of China, the city of Xi’an. The total distance of the race is 9607 kilometres; the total distance of the special stages is 4088 kilometres.

The Silk Way Rally was first conducted in 2009. Today, it is a globally recognised sporting event of the highest complexity rating, which draws the attention of the best racers and teams of the world. The task of each crew consisting, as a rule, of a pilot and a co-pilot (in truck crews, also a mechanic, and for motorcycles, only a pilot) is to complete high-speed sections (also called special stages) in the shortest time along the route described in a road book, while observing the control points. The winner of the race is determined by the minimum amount of time on the special stages of all legs of the rally.
