Today, the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Government of the Tula Oblast signed an agreement on cooperation in trade, economic, scientific, technology, and cultural spheres. Signatories to the document were Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Tula Oblast Governor Aleksey Dyumin, as informs the Tatarstan Presidential Press Service. The event took place at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

“The development of horizontal links between the regions is very important”, said Rustam Minnikhanov. He noted that Tatarstan had strong trade and economic relations with the Tula Oblast.

“Tatarstan is an advanced region, from which we have much to learn, to adopt new technologies. In turn, the Tula Oblast also has certain developments in various fields, which we are ready to share. Our colleagues have repeatedly travelled to Kazan to get acquainted with new practices. Today we cooperate in all areas”, added the Tula Oblast Governor.

PAO KAMAZ and PAO MOESK signed an agreement on strategic cooperation in the sphere of innovations within the framework of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. The agreement provides for the development of a mobile power storage device based on a cargo electric vehicle.

The document was signed by Deputy Director General and Development Director of KAMAZ Irek Gumerov and Director General of MOESK Pyotr Sinyutin.

According to preliminary calculations of power engineers, the capacity of such a power storage device for the needs of the power grid complex in the metropolitan area should be at least 1 MW. When incorporated into a power supply circuit, it would be possible to disconnect a consumer from the primary grid without fear of voltage surges. Such a device would be able to maintain sufficient quality and reliability of power supply for a sufficient time, in an environmentally friendly manner. In contrast, traditional diesel generator units pollute air and are additional sources of noise.

Today at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, an agreement on cooperation between the Republic of Tatarstan and RusHydro was signed. The signatories to this document were Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and CEO of RusHydro Nikolay Shulginov.

The agreement is intended to consolidate the interaction within the framework of implementing the Autonet projects of the National Technological Initiative, as well as on other issues and areas. Joint activities, according to the agreement, imply the creation and development of the market of unmanned vehicles on the KAMAZ chassis, the necessary infrastructure for this, including the same within the allied production of a number of elements for its component base. In addition, the cooperation suggests arranging joint actions to protect intellectual property and associated rights to be created as a result of such cooperation.
