On 3 October 2016, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov participated in the meeting between Acting Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Special Representative of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs for development of relations with Russia and Head of the Foundation for Islam Jean-Pierre Chevènement.

The meeting was held in the Tatarstan House of Government. Parties discussed an issue of sharing experience in interreligious interaction.

The project “College of Future Tatarstan” was granted the Aleksandr Pochinok Award within the All-Russian Contest of the Regional Social Development Programmes, which is implemented by the Group of Chelyabinsk Tube Rolling Plant jointly with the Republic of Tatarstan. The project became the winner in the category “Development of Public and Private Partnership in the Social Sphere”. The project aimed at providing qualified blue-collar personnel to Alnas and other Tatarstan mechanical engineering enterprises.

This year, the first batch of students graduated from the College of Future Tatarstan.

On 3 October 2016, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov bestowed a Certificate of Honour from the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan to Leading Expert of the Organisational Work Department Tatyana Matveyeva for her conscientious and fruitful work.
