On May 23 to May 25, Chelyabinsk is hosting the specialised exhibition titled “Ural Motor Show 2019. Commercial Vehicles”. This large-scale event annually brings together various participants of the automotive market, such as Russian and foreign manufacturers, importers, distributors of equipment and components.
At the exhibition, visitors studied a wide range of cars and trucks of famous brands. A large number of various passenger vehicles were presented in the street display at the Tractor Ice Arena. Among them is the Russian-made Lotos 105 bus, a notable feature of which is a LNG engine, which uses liquid methane as a fuel.
The Lotos city bus, manufactured by RariTEK, is capable of carrying up to 72 passengers, 23 of whom are seated. This is a convenient means of transportation for people with limited mobility, equipped with a ramp and a special accommodation place. The floor of the bus is lowered, which also contributes to its comfort during operation.
The Lotos 105 is equipped with a 260-hp engine, an Allison T280R automatic gearbox, and a 450-litre cryogenic tank.
