Council of chief technologists from Tatarstan's leading enterprises
The KNRTU today held the first meeting of the Council of Chief Technologists from Tatarstan’s enterprises. The idea of creating this collegial body, active at the Kazan National Research Technological University under the auspices of the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade, was approved by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov at the “Mechanical Engineering. Metalworking. Kazan” exhibition.
Representatives of leading regional enterprises in chemical, petrochemical and engineering industries gathered in the Academic Council Meeting Hall of KNRTU. They included the leaders of the real sector of the economy, such as Tatneft, Kazanorgsintez, Nizhnekamskneftekhim, TANECO, KAMAZ, Elecon, KMPO, and others. From the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade, the meeting was attended by Deputy Minister Aleksey Savelchev.
Council members discussed topics related to the integration of production and education, both higher and secondary vocational, the coordination of educational programmes with the needs of industry’s enterprises. During the first meeting, the immediate tasks facing the Council were outlined. In particular, it was decided that by the next meeting the enterprises would submit their corrections on the training profiles of KNRTU students, while the university, in turn, would send proposals to the enterprises on vocational, educational, and research activities.
